Inspired by a garden party scene in the Italian documentary, 'The Great Beauty', SINTRA captures the essence of getting lost in a new place and immersing yourself in unfamiliar surroundings. A Verdant, Animalic Skin Scent

A truly verdant and animalic scent, classified in the perfume world as a 'skin scent' because of its skin-like sensual notes of Orris flower and musk. These intimate fragrances amplify your own natural scent, becoming so close to the body that they can only be detected up close. SINTRA sits within the floral/woody olfactive map, with its blooming heart of florals (Lavandin, Mimosa, Ylang-Ylang, and Orris) anchored in a an earthy Vetiver and Sandalwood.  

The Olfactory Journey

The biggest noticeable notes in SINTRA include a sparkling citrus bergamot and Italian lemon at its top, which provide a bright, euphoric opening (the Italian lemon a nod to the movie which inspired it). This initial burst is followed by a huge blooming of orris, adding a floral elegance to the composition. As the fragrance settles, it unravels a musk and sandalwood base transitioning to a creamy dry down, mimicking the warmth and closeness of skin.

Wandering through the verdant, enchanting landscapes of Sintra, Faye felt a deep connection to nature and a sense of awakening that she wanted to encapsulate in this fragrance. SINTRA is a tribute to those magical moments of exploration and discovery, bringing the essence of the gardens of Sintra to life in a scent.
