PINK PEPPER: LMR's Pink Pepper is from southeastern Madagascar, a very poverty-stricken and rural area. In 2000, their partner introduced pink pepper plantations and opened a local research center to generate activities in the area, ensuring stable incomes for locals. Pink pepper is now the main source of income for the region and since the opening, LMR has financed the replantation of 50,000 pink pepper plants.
UPCYCLED ROSE ESSENTIAL: In 2008, LMR Naturals established a vertically integrated rose sourcing platform in Turkey. LMR purchases the handpicked flowers directly from the farmers ensuring fair wages and volumes before distillation and extraction at their facility. In 2012, LMR Naturals scientists revealed that the rose water typically discarded after distillation still contained beautiful rose scented molecules. Scientists combined the remaining rose water with essential oils to develop the new Rose Essential Upcycled LMR ingredient.
