Pink Pepper: Revitalizing Rural Communities
Our Pink Pepper comes from southeastern Madagascar, where our supplier and their partners have transformed a poverty-stricken rural area since 2000. By introducing pink pepper plantations and establishing a local research center, they’ve generated sustainable economic activity in the region. Pink pepper has become the main source of income for local communities, providing stable livelihoods where they were once scarce. Our supplier has financed the replantation of 50,000 pink pepper plants, ensuring this valuable resource continues to support generations to come.
Upcycled Rose Essential: Innovation Meets Sustainability
Our Upcycled Rose Essential represents the perfect harmony of ethical sourcing and environmental innovation. Since 2008, our supplier has maintained a vertically integrated rose sourcing platform in Turkey, purchasing handpicked flowers directly from farmers to ensure fair wages and guaranteed volumes. The breakthrough came in 2012, when their scientists discovered that rose water—typically discarded after distillation—still contained beautiful aromatic molecules. This discovery led to an innovative process combining the remaining rose water with essential oils to create our Upcycled Rose Essential, transforming what was once considered waste into a precious fragrance ingredient while supporting local farming communities.
